Principle:
The industrial nitrogen generator adopts the PSA pressure swing adsorption principle. Under a certain pressure, due to the dynamic principle, the diffusion rates of nitrogen and oxygen molecules on the micropores of carbon molecular sieve surface are different. The smaller diameter oxygen molecules diffuse faster and more enter the solid phase of the molecular sieve, while the larger diameter nitrogen molecules diffuse slower and enter the solid phase of the molecular sieve less. The enriched components of nitrogen gas are obtained in the gas phase, achieving nitrogen oxygen separation. Due to the significant difference in oxygen adsorption capacity of carbon molecular sieves with different pressures, reducing the pressure can desorb other gas components adsorbed by the carbon molecular sieve, regenerate the carbon molecular sieve, and enable alternating circulation of towers A and B to achieve a continuous production of high-quality nitrogen gas.
